#278. The end of a new year + Starry Sky CD + Kanno Mukashi Banashi Vol. 1

Today is the last day of 2010. What are you guys planning to do tonight? My sister recommends doing a countdown at home. I was like LUL. Isn't that just sad? I was hoping for pizzas and alcohols so I can get drunk while making a new year's cake and worship my beloved characters on it. It's the otaku frenzy nowadays. *ooglingoverpictures*

Let's see if we can find anything productive to do for the rest of the day.

So before I go shoot myself for looking at this....UGH. WHY. WHY JAN. WHY NOT FEB. I am only left with a bit of cash and I definitely don't have the cash to burn for this. Screw my insane purchases. LOL. But I do have till the 10th to actually consider this or I go rob my mom for the money to buy this. We will see what kind of insane plan I will come up with to get this. 8D

It's practically like Sweet and Bitter version. The only difference is the PLOT. Oh lord, no kidding. I

'm joking lul. Instead of being divided into two groups, they're all available in one package for a damaging price of 3000 yen which is actually the same price as the regular edition version of the cd. OTL. With the addition of fees and domestic shipping...I can die now.

See my dilemma now?! I'm on the roll... No kidding. :/

Kanno Mukashi Banashi. :0 It was originally announced back in 2009 in JanuaryJanuary 2009 but released in July 2009. It's actually a series of 6 cds and still ongoing. Just treat it like a collection of stories from different origins. Each cd deals with one specific type of stories. The first one dealt with Japanese Folk Tales. Second volume was Anderson's Tales (I cried in this one). Third is about Kaidans. Fourth is on Grimm's Fairy Tales while the fifth one is about Greek Mythologies. The 6th is about the stories of the historical figures of the Sengoku Era.  There are also a couple of extra cds which are released such as the Happy Prince. (You know, the statue made of gold and the swallow) If I remember correctly, the next one in line will be Romeo and Juliet. The jacket art is amazing and I'm tempted. LOL

Now don't start off by googling for downloads to the series. There's a catch. You can't let kids listen to this or they will be scarred for life. @.@ AM SERIOUS. This is SRSZBZNESS. They retell the stories in an sexy adult kind of way. @.@ It is definitely not the kind of story I would let my kids listen. But for fangirls? Get ready for intense blood loss. 

I almost died of fangasm when Inoue-sama Kazuhiko whispered. LOL. My ears felt like they're completely rape and I cannot stop blushing! Made me wonder what I would be like when my Shukan Soine CDs arrive. I mean Daisuke Hirakawa will kill me with his voice. (Not that he didn't during Kichiku Megane). I mean, in bed? Squirming? *diesofbloodloss*

The selling point of these cds is not only because of the delicious seiyuu's voice. It is also because of the usage of the 3D dummy head microphone which increased the intimacy between the listener and the seiyuu. So it is highly recommended for full effects that you all are required to put on your headphones or earphones during this time!  

But if you forget, don't worry! The first track is normally Kazuhiko reminding you and giving you the time to get your headphones. He will also be doing a test trial to see whether you stuff in your headphones or earphones properly to get the full effect of his smexy voice. Hot no?

However, not all of the CD is purely recorded in 3D goodness. Only the important part of the tracks which required intimacy is given full attention. And it normally involves the seiyuu's trying to woo you over and make you go gaga as they make kissing or sucking sounds. @.@ Not good for children at all. 

All of the cds will have a prologue and an epilogue with 4 short stories which will last 15 minutes each. The epilogue ends with kazuhiko thanking you for listening to the cd. 

 The first story is Issun Boushi or known to most non-Japanese as the One-Inch Boy. For those who're not familiar with the story. It's about a boy who is no bigger than a thumb who was born to an old couple. They treated him well. But he wanted to find his own place in the world so he set out on his journey. His father gave him a needle as a sword while his mother gave him a wooden bowl to use as a ship. And he soon came to the city's most wealthiest man's house. He told the man he wanted to join his guards but instead he was given to the daughter to be his daughter's play mate.

Now this is where the unnecessary erotic part comes out. LOL  Turns out, you, the listener, is taking the role of the daughter and you have to go through Issun Boushi's erotic voice while he tries to cheer you up and make you feel better because you got pricked by a flower. @.@;; He will suck the blood out. Omg, sucking sound by my ear! Imma die and there will be sexual innuendos hinted. Then the 3D effect ends with saying what a bad princess you're. 

LOLOLOL. 

Listen to the rest yourself and you will get what I mean. The story then continues. What turn me off is the last story of volume 1. Remember the old story about the crab who found an onigiri and the monkey tried to tarde it with a seed? (More like trying to trick the crab in exchange for his seed.) The 3D part...was....unexpected. I almost cried when my kawaii crab was violated by that...monkey! (He makes a nice uke.) I mean like seriously?! EW. That is just so wrong?!!! 

If that was BL H, I wouldn't mind but ewww. That was just too wrong! I will never see them the same way again!

Seriously, 3D is like all the hype since 2009. I remember being super excited to watch a movie in 3D. And now, forgive me for my out of dateness but audio in 3D?!!!

As soon as I found out, I ordered the Shukan Soine series, Money Bee's Starry Sky Bitter and Sweet version and one of the Dolly series.

Not only that, I managed to download the Shukan Soine for test trial. It is addicting and I got goosebumps for listening to them. Especially since the guy is beside you in your mind. 8D He is really beside you, mind you but just not physically there but there. Well, you will get it once you listened to it.

By 3D, I don't mean it like what you see in the movies. It's actually in the form of a Dummy Head Microphone which the user can fully utilize it by making it sound more realistic aka surround sound. You can google more to see what it is. A lot of otome drama cds seems to be making their moolah by adding these "effects" as it makes the fangirls go absolutely gaga. *coughsmeforonce*

After listening to this, all the drama cds I listened to sounds very bland. Hopefully, BL drama cds will use this feature and I swear I can die happy.

If you happen to stop by the Starry Sky's boys' own twitter page (all thirteen of them) on Christmas eve, they prepared something extra special for all the fans out there. :3 Each of the boys will have their own Christmas message to you and there are 4 different sizes of calendars in the form of a wallpaper for the fans.

Neat, huh? :D

The messages are awfully cute and I helped myself to the wallpapers.  :D

I finally placed orders for the great Asami Ryuichi poster and the Takaba Dakimakura. Can't resist the hotness.

Then again, I won't ever able to resist anything which is related to Viewfinder. @.@;;

I kinda forgot how it feels like to have your head rammed into the wall. So I finished Nessa no Rakuen in like 8 hours top.

And I swear, I fell asleep halfway. It was BORING. I know this is supposed to be plotless. But I just couldn't help it. It's still BORING. :( But I have to admit, Hakim is an absolute eye-candy. But for Ashraf?

#274. Nessa no Rakuen

And here we have it. I find it absolutely astounding that the team which did this game was faster than the one who did TMGS. Well, not that am complaining. It's just too fast to be true? I saw the announcement for this game back then and I have to agree I was immediately pulled in...and I just...seriously, just cannot resist it. But then I have been busy so I sorta neglected this game...

Oh come on. HOW CAN I EVEN STAND IT?! I'm super slow when it comes to finding time for my BL games. I blame it all on TMGS and my tremendous ambition to finish them with full cgs before going on to the next one. I only played the beginning of the game and Will, oh lord, not just Will, the visuals of the game are incredibly drawn and colored.

I like the way they drew Hakim. Damnhottanpeople. And the casts are an absolute to die for! Loving their voices! So far so good. Nothing bad. The plotline can be easily understood but I wonder how cliche it can get.

:/ Tries to find flower but got tricked by suspicious people on the street. There isn't much to ponder about that, isn't it?

I just haven't reach becoming-part-of-the-harem part. :p I'm in it for the eye candy only. No matter how 狗血 the whole thing is, nobody can deny Hakim is a piece of meat every fujoshi will want to get their hands on.

#273. Tnc + Wine = Hot

First off, I would like to say I'm terribly sorry. I accidentally replaced my old blog layout and I lost all the links of my fellow buddies as well as my tag board along with it.

I can easily put up another tagboard but OTL, I forgot my username and password. Okay, I am unable to reason with anyone about it. Not that I want to, anyways. Since I'm an idiot to boot.

TnC anime was a terrible let down. It looks cheap. The plotline is fucked up. Shiki is messed up. Nano is more fucked up than we imagine. :( Thank goodness I stopped watching it halfway. Watching it to the end will be more painful.

On the other hand, I still have yet to post up my Japan Trip pictures and my loots. I wouldn't call it loots since it's not much. I managed to find the Kazuaki Artworks there and my Chayamachi Chiral works. Last book on the shelf. I almost killed myself when I ran into the stupid pole. Damn it. @.@ WHY ARE JAPAN BOOKSTORES SO HUGE.

#268. Necklace!

I went to University just now to hand in my list of modules for Monash to my pro gramme leader. I know this doesn't guarantee anything but I really do kinda hope to get out of here. It's not that I don't like it here or anything but I just want to make my mother proud although am just going for half a semester (if I do get it). It depends on my second year result too.

And plus, exams are coming soon again. :D I studied here and there. Onlyafewchapterscough I do sorta understand. Hopefully, I will do well this time. :)

After that, I went to take my necklace. It's a chain necklace with a translucent gift box as a pendant. Looks cheaply made, not as kira kira and pika pika as what it is in the image. HAHA. I guess, it's true not to believe what you see some times. :p After that, went to get something nice for ahem. I have great plans for ahem. :D

Anyways, am here to talk about the starting of my new project. The English Translation for the game Sweet Pool. Now, don't look at me that way now. I'm not going to translate the whole game. LOL. YOU CRAZY?! I'm going to translate the whole thing and compile everything to be a novel. Of course, I will start off on a character's route. I'm sorry, Tetsuo will always be Youji's seme. Makoto and Zenya, I just can't see it. But if a lot of people request for it, I might.

I'm planning to open a site for it. Buuuut, let's see if I am free enough to do it. So for the mean time, I will just put it here.

Actually, I have a hard time finishing off the game. I finished both Lamento and Togainu no Chi when they were released. But for sweet pool?! HAHA. I had a hard time finishing it off! Because I always leave a huge gap between gameplays (like I play it now, stop, then continue like 2 or 3 weeks later) and I always always always forgot where I left off! Especially at the decision making part...

Terrible. :( And the thing with Sweet Pool is. They're only two decisions to make. And they're the freaking same. So, doing this translation from the start will be a good thing since I'm replaying the whole thing again. It can act like a log for me to keep track where I am.

#267. More cupcakes for me...

Ghibli movies have become the hit for me this year. I watched the well-known ones before but I haven't watch the musical videos as well as their other smaller stories but at the rate I'm going now, I will be done with them as soon as say Totoro. :) Nausicaa is beautiful and it will still remain to be one of the most beautiful story I have ever seen. The musical score for the movie is splendid and I am not the only one who's the judge of that.

Princess Mononoke is majestic! I can't even begin describe this! A huge recommendation! A must watch. :) Tomb of the Firefly made me cry. It's a beautiful piece. Tales from Earthsea is complicated but nice. Howl's Moving Castle is different from the novel but it's still awesomely awesome. Spirited Away remains as one of my favorites! My Neighbor Totoro is adorable and touching!

Ponyo is too adorable to resist! Loosely based on The Little Mermaid. Though it's a bit too early for a 5 year old kid to fall in love. Haha. On your Mark is insanely funny and touching as it tells the tale of two guys who never gave up trying to rescue the winged girl! :) Kiki's Delivery Service wasn't much for me but it's still cute. And there's so much more!

Sorry, apparently, my love for Ghibli is eating me out. Hahaha.

Chiral Cafe e Youkoso! Downloaded the drama cd already. It was released only in Japan. :( I was hoping for a general release internationally. But too bad. I feel like doing little translations on this! But it has to wait until am done revising, am free and maybe, when my exams are over. :) I will do a proper review on it when am free. Wait for it! :D

Probably this is my proper post in how many months. Sorry wah. I have been really busy lately. My exams are coming up next week again. :( So troublesome. My friends are complaining to me as to why I never once did a post on my life. Egasp! She's right! They're right! It's just that there are nothing much to talk about. Nothing really happen to me. Lookie here, am so happy my Junjou Romantica Set has arrived! I didn't take pictures of them individually cause I didn't want to take them out of the box. They look so pretty and happy inside~ Hehe. I bought it off a friend (Thanks Yui-chan!). It really is the best! For those who want them, better find a proxy quick. :p Cause these are only on sale on Chara-Ani as an exclusive.

And also, my Kuroshitsuji Petite Prop Plus II arrived from Japan! Oh my goodness. The quality is so dang good. :p I'm so in love with them! I manage to get all seven characters in total in one box. So am very content about it. I got three doubles. I will get back to them later.

#260. Alice: Madness Returns

I have been feeling rather uptight lately. No idea with what. I have been actung really nervous and my mind can't seem to stop thinking about it. Which is really stupid since I have no idea what the whole deal was about.  Maybe I hit my head while I was sleeping. Hmm.. That sounds reasonable. Or maybe it's just me and all those soon-need-to-be-done assignments that's been driving me crazy.

I haven't touch them yet. Maybe later. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe last minute - my favorite phrase of the year. :) I still haven't done anything productive for the past few days. Oh wow. That's just nasty. Haha. Mom has been screaming to get me to do something at home. But I just don't want to stay at home cause it's boring. And I really have nothing better to do.

Crap. I still haven't study for the Algo test. I personally would't think he would give it on the first day where some people will be absent. Like seriously. I love you guys. :)

Jackie showed me the trailer for the sequel to American McGee's ALice. I wanted to see and feel how the original game is like. Since it's so dark and creepy. It gives me a vibe of Folklore. I have yet to actually play that game also since I do not own a PS3. But this game is on PC. So...yay?

Someday, VF is going to be the death of me. What you're looking at now is a lovely advertisement for the Asami Ryuichi's BJD 1/3 scale doll, which is about 65 cm in height.

The cut through your bank accounts? 1.6k BND which is equivalent to about 99,750 yen.

For an Azone international doll, it better be worth it!! I just hope the face is going to be out alright. but for that price and Ayano-sensei overseeing the production, she will set them right! The set is going to include the doll, wig, coat, suit, shirt, necktie, vest, pants, belt, socks, shoes, and cigarette for our lovely alpha seme.

Personally, am really excited  to see how the final production will turn out. Will it be the eye candy of all fans or will it turn out scary and will be the primary cause of insomnia at night?

I don't have the extra $$ to burn for this...imagine that. 1.6k. WOW. That's like the price of a trip to Singapore with expenses covered! I can get a HDTV with it! Or a PS3 with 6-7 games or more than that! It really is a thorn in my heart. I would love to own it but I don't have the cash or the guts to order it.

Anyways, for those who actually HAVE THE MONEY TO BURN, these will be out in June 2011. Preorder dates are around 28 October to 11 Jan 2011. It's limited so I guess you will have to find a proxy to help you order it at the b-boy online shop.

I'm happy if they actually released a very nice scale figure of him. But I guess that's wishful thinking. :p

Guess who am I going to cosplay? :p I'm sorry. There won't be any rewards even if you manage to get it right. hahaha. I just seriously can't believe I'm doing this. Watching the series really made me think of my childhood days again.

A lot of goodies have been announced at WonFest Summer 2010 and I bet a hell lot of you already seen the coverages! Those who haven't, shame on you! Go search for them now! I'm not really much of a Vocaloid fan but even I would hell love to get my hands on those! The Append Miku Figure is just GORGEOUS. For more coverages, I suggest a visit to Hobby Stock and Akira Hobby is a great way to find out what's new!

That's why I chose not to review WonFest a few days ago. :)

Anyways, while browsing through Akiba Hobby, I discovered these which were not included in some of the coverages. The plushes from GIFT!!!

As usual, Gift's plushies won't cost you just 1000 yen. In fact, the damage to these will be around 2,500 yen and above! Yikes! Painful huh! Throw in another 1000 yen to that and you can get yourself some nendoroids or figmas! Although I did like to get my hands on the Shirt-Akira one!

Hakuoki fans, be on alert! I dislike Hakuoki but I can't deny that they're adorable! The Lucky Dog1 ones are at the back and Gian is looking as smug as ever! This is the first time I see Bernardo and he really looks nice to cuddle.

No news have been announced yet...but expect the pre-orders for them to come soon? Official plushies like these don't come cheap. But getting them once and every now and then won't be that bad. 

#249. Complaints + Comiket TNC Goods + WIM Camhores and Previews + Taiwanese uh, reality TV show?

Okay. I woke up to a message saying YOUKNOWWHO won't be joining First Aid class cause of the quota. I was having such a good night sleep. :( I will get back to you later. Then I went back to my dreamland, dreaming about people shouting. And guess what?

My dad was actually screaming IRL. ORZ. -.- He got pissed and now I have to do house work. :( Which is the first serious chores I have to do in my 3 months holiday. Doesn't sound too bad. Just that, me do not like those dust fluttering around. It's crazy and scary. :( Don't get me started on my DVD player. When I said it's collecting dust, it really is collecting dust! Thank goodness my PS2 is dust free though. :(

Anyways, let's get to another point shall we? Is anyone, ANYONE at all going to Comiket? :p I got some TNC goodies which I want to get there. And I don't want them to be overpriced. :( I know there are commission fees and etc but still, paying over 3000 yen for a mat is really going overboard no matter how rare they're. Some items are going to be available on GIFT online shop. Others, well, are just comiket exclusives. How I hate those words. If it's on sale in Japan, I can still get them easily. But event exclusives? T_T

For a price of 4000 yen (event price) you can get your hands on cute yupon illustration lunch box set. Comes with chopsticks, mat, lunch box and a bag to put them in. Non-event price is 4,200 yen. My waller is bleeding. I find it ABSOLUTELY loathing to sell a lunch box set for a mere 4,200 yen just cause they paste cute things on them.

And also, if you purchase the set in the event, you will get these cute laminated buttons or badges or whatever you call them. Cruel no? Way to pull in customers and fans. Who can resist the Yuponese? :(

And this..for a mere 500 yen (event price) and for non-event prices 525 yen. The Lunch Time version will be available on Gift's online shop but the Style (chalkboard) will be a comiket exclusive only. I prefer the chalkboard version though. It just looks so freaking dang adorable! AHGHDGGD!

Want some canned bread? 

These canned bread will be available for 500 yen each! I am only in it for the cans though. I just can't believe that they will taste good. Most of the price we are paying for is basically to the franchise more than the food itself. Keisuke will be flavored Chocolate Cream, Akira will be Vanilla Milk, Rin will be tasty with Honey Lemon while our lovely Shiki will be Blueberry. El gasp. Jon's favorite berries. :) Need to remind myself that these will be released at late August. :)

Also, comiket will be releasing these beige colored Togainu no Chi Military Akira and Shiki one coin figures! I'm not really fond of the colors but heck, they come with an armband to boot for a mere damaging price of 2000 yen! Not really damaging for me though. I would love to get it just for the arm band. But then again, maybe not. Nothing really special here. :) Just a repaint of the previous release.

Doesn't the armband just look yummy? If I ever cosplay TNC in the future, I wanna get this. I already missed the dog tags. :( And it's not making me feel any better. I should learn to keep track of these things really. Alice Cross will be there as well! I'm not really fond of trading card games and think they're simply a waste of money. Who would like to pay over Ks to get a pack? But this set is looking great!

As well as a damaging price of 4000 yen, you can get a Card Pouch, a Deck set, Card play sheet, a binder and a bag to with it!! I don't think there will be any extra illustrations to go with it for the cards since they're much gathered from the game's cgs. But it sure look as hell as good. Also, if you go to their website, there is a Kichiku Megane set for the same price. 

For SWEET POOL fans, lookie here! A Youji Plush Strap for a price of 1500 yen! It's available at Comiket! I'm not interested in this much. And it's too much for the price that I can bear. Not sure if it's only sold there though. Hopefully not.

And now, we're here to the WORLD IS MINE camhore shots!! Nad and me did a World Is mine shot yesterday at her place. It was full of epic fun! And it's actually a hell lot easier to do this shot than the previous JBF shoot. Oh lord. Paige wasn't there cause she's busy. :p And Piang was the photographer for that day. Nice shots! And it was funny to see her hard work get torn into two, Zooming kills everything. I actually thought the list was bigger than the photo she took in her blog. JIONG-FIED. :(

I have been looking at these Taiwanese Reality Shows on cosplays and otakus that I found on YT. I couldn't exactly call these awesome. But the otakus really know their stuffs!! Watch them if you want. :)
